Me and my partner have been coming to this shop for food for the last few weeks now because my partner works close by and I have to say it is absolutely gorgeous today we got the stew their were proper chunks of beef in it which was great and they fall apart when you bite into them absolutely amazing we got bacon and cabbage before that gorgeous

Great little goldmine. Fantastic shop and well stocked deli. Plenty of staff, which is a refreshing change from the one man shop syndrome of late. Parking is provided but can be a bit tight during busy times but not normally too problematic. All that said, I can't fault the place. We'll done.

Great hot meals. You couldn't criticse their hot deli section or quality. Perfect. Fresh vegetables can be a bit disappointing. A smile would be helpful from owners/managers. Staff all lovely.

Locally known as John's shop this place has a great selection of deli and pizza to take away as well as shopping essentials of bread, milk, wine and beer. There are always specials on the go for the bargain hunters! Parking is on street and just off it and might need a little bit of patience. If you can't find what you need, any of the very friendly staff will be only too happy to help.

Can't beat John's shop.. the pizza to go or cook in store are 10-10 what a gem has always severed the community well, I remember when this use to be a paper stand late 80s early 90s..

Deli is the best. Place is immaculate. Staff ever so friendly. Proprietor a local and lovely man. Thoroughly recommend.
